Yes, everyone has sin; everyone comes up short of God's glorious ideal; yet now God declares us "not guilty" of offending him if we trust in Jesus Christ, who in his kindness freely takes away our sins. For God sent Christ Jesus to take the punishment for our sins and to end all God's anger against us. He used Christ's blood and our faith as the means of saving us from his wrath. \| Romans 3:23-25 For salvation that comes from trusting Jesus Christ, which is what we preach, is already within easy reach of each of everyone; in fact, it is as near as our\| own hearts and mouths. For if you tell others with your own mouth that Jesus Christ is your Lord and believe in your own heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in his heart that a man becomes right with God; and with his mouth he tells others of his faith, confirming his salvation. For the Bible tell us that no one who believes in Jesus will ever be disappointed. \| Romans 10: 8-11 Go ahead and pray this prayer, God's listening God, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from You. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your Son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I now invite You Jesus to become the Lord and King of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. I desire this relationship with You Jesus, knowing you have my best interest at heart. And please baptize me with Your Holy Spirit to help me obey You and to do our Father's will for the rest of my life.
